Buying a home is one of the most important investments a person can make for themselves, and it is my firm belief that our home should be seen as a sanctuary and exist as a "no stress zone" where we COME HOME to relax, create and rejuvenate our lives.
So, while it is important to have an agent who knows how to effectively navigate toward 'the pros' and around 'the cons' of the current market, it is just as important that they be able to intuit into and appreciate the Spirit of their client, thus tapping into their innermost needs, dreams and desires.
It is important to note that I hold a New Home Specialist (NHS) & Accredited Buyers Represenitive (ABR) designation, and have ample amounts of experience when working with home builders. Please!! Do not even think about NOT using an experienced agent when beginning this process, especially BEFORE you even start looking or walk though the door of a builder model! I cannot stress this enough, as it can make the difference between you saving thousands of dollars—to even insuring that your investment is been properly protected.
As far as my awareness in the home resale market, (besides receiving constant property updates from colleagues) I dedicate **at least** 1 to 2 hours every day searching the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) for the newest and best homes available in Houston.
